Dr. Ganesh is also skilled in Indian classical dance. She has given over two hundred stage performances and teaches a limited set of students. [Vilasini's dance website]

Dr. Ganesh graduated from Rush Copley Family Medicine residency program, affiliated with Rush University, Chicago, Illinois. She Started her career as a surgical resident, after completing an internship in General Surgery. She was attracted to the diversity of patients and continuity of care in family medicine. Dr. Ganesh has special interest in women's health and preventive medicine.

Dr. Ganesh is licensed in the States of California and Illinois. She is affiliated with the American Medical Association (AMA) and American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

Dr. Ganesh is a Teaching Faculty at Stanford University. She is actively involved in precepting and training medical students from Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Ganesh is also an active staff at Los Gatos Community Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospitals.

She is involved in community service through American Red Cross and California Blind School for Children.
